After more than three decades since the release of their first album, 4 Non Blondes are making a powerful return to the music scene with new material that has already generated excitement. The iconic Linda Perry, the creative force behind the band, has signed a partnership with independent label Kill Rock Stars to release both her personal album and 4 Non Blondes' long-awaited second album in 2026.
More than 33 years have passed since the band's last release, the Bigger, Better, Faster, More! of 1992 — an album that defined the '90s and highlighted the What's Up? into an anthem of an entire generation. Now, the 4 Non Blondes They return with a renewed spirit and new material, ready to reconnect with their audience and reintroduce themselves to the new generation of listeners.
The announcement of the collaboration was made by Kill Rock Stars, who signed a deal with Perry's record label, 670 Records. The partnership will see the release of two projects in 2026: Perry's solo album titled Let It Die Here, which has the same name as her documentary, and the new, still untitled, album by 4 Non Blondes.

Perry had already reunited the band earlier this year for a series of shows — their first in over a decade. The experience proved to be cathartic, rekindling the chemistry between the band members and paving the way for new creative material. As she explained, playing with the 4 Non Blondes again this time felt natural, spontaneous, and fun.
After decades as a songwriter and producer for big names like Pink, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani, Perry says she's ready to return to the spotlight as an artist. She sees this period as a new beginning: she wants to rediscover the joy of creation and express her artistic self without limitations.

Perry revealed that rehearsals for the shows resulted in a burst of creativity: new songs were written, older compositions were re-evaluated, and before they knew it, they had material for a full-length album in their hands. She described the process as “natural and effortless,” and stressed that she felt like the band’s musicians were at their best.
The collaboration with Kill Rock Stars follows the recent reissue of Perry's personal album In Flight (1996). The company said that the artist fully represents its philosophy: fearless creativity, authenticity and support for independent voices that dare to stand out.
The return of 4 Non Blondes has already sparked excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting to see if the band will stay true to the alternative rock style that established them or if they will explore new musical paths. Perry has stated that the sound of the new album will balance between the old, familiar dynamism and more mature, experimental elements.
At the same time, the Let It Die Here marks Perry's return as a solo artist. It is a more introspective and personal project, reflecting her journey as a woman, artist, and producer in the contemporary music scene.

The What's Up? remains one of the most enduring songs of the '90s, with over a billion streams and countless covers. For Perry, the song's success was a reminder of what it means to write something honest, something that touches people's emotions without filters.
She describes 4 Non Blondes as a group of friends who always wanted to play loud and speak truths through their music. That, she says, is the spirit of their new chapter. Their second album is expected to be released in mid-2026, accompanied by a series of live performances that will reintroduce the band to the public, with the same energy and passion that made them famous.
The return of the 4 Non Blondes is not just a reunion; it's a reminder that good music has no expiration date. With Linda Perry at the helm, the band seems poised to write a new chapter, full of maturity, authenticity, and renewed artistic fire.
