“I Barely Know Her” brings new hits and a world tour starting in America
Sombr, the new rising star of the music industry who has managed to conquer millions of listeners in just a few months, is ready to take the most important step of his career so far. After a year marked by countless hits, viral festival appearances and collaborations that became the talk of the town, the young artist announced the release of his first full-length album titled “I Barely Know Her”, which will be released on August 22nd by Warner Records.
The news has excited his fans, as the album includes ten tracks, some of which have already been loved by the public. The already well-known hits “Back to Friends”, “Undressed”, “We Never Dated” and the recent single “12 to 12” are combined with six brand new songs, such as “Under the Mat”, “Crushing” and “Dime”, which Sombr wrote and co-produced with Tony Berg.

The announcement was accompanied by another exciting piece of news: the start of a sold-out tour which kicks off this fall in North America and promises to take the artist around the world. Initial stops include major cities such as Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Los Angeles, before moving on to New Zealand and Australia for the end-of-year holiday shows. From there, Sombr will continue on to Europe and the UK for a arena tour in the spring of 2026, proving that its international appeal is now a given.
Sombr's success is no coincidence. By 2025, the artist had reached 51,8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, released a much-discussed music video with Addison rae and gave audiences explosive live performances at festivals that went viral on social media. This explosive presence established him as one of the most promising artists of his generation.
The “I Barely Know Her” comes about two years after the release of his first EP “In Another Life”, which contained pieces such as "Ivy", “Weak” and "Silhouette"Despite the fact that some of the biggest hits of 2023, such as "I Don't Know You Anymore" and “It Could’ve Been You”, as well as last year's "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind", are not included in the new tracklist, this choice seems to have been made with the aim of creating a fresher and more unified artistic result.

Sombr's dynamic and energetic stage presence has already become his trademark. Audiences are eagerly awaiting his new songs live, as the experience of a concert is not just about the music — it's a complete performance, full of emotional climaxes, audience interaction, and surprises.
The strategy behind the album's release is also impressive. With the support of Warner Records, the project is accompanied by an extensive promotional plan that includes exclusive interviews, appearances on major television shows and a dynamic social media campaign that is already "sparking" interest.
Sombr's journey to this point is an example of how talent, creativity and the right management can catapult a young artist from the level of rising star to the top of the global charts. “I Barely Know Her” seems poised to be the album that will definitively establish him in the international music scene.
