Kadebostany: New EP “Walk a Mile” combines pop and folk in a new era of sound

Notification

Kadebostany return with a bang with their new EP “Walk a Mile”, an impressive blend of pop and folk sounds that bridges cultures and emotions. Featuring Selin Çıngır and Alex Sid, the project marks a new era for the beloved band, signed by Panik Records and the creative stamp of Guillaume de Kadebostany, the visionary behind this unique musical universe.

The brand new Kadebostany EP entitled “Walk a Mile” is a journey full of colors, images and emotions. From the first listen it becomes clear that this is a work that goes beyond the boundaries of pop, experimenting with folk sounds, electronic elements and traditional influences from different cultures. Kadebostany, known for their innovative sound and visual identity, create again something that is unlike anything else in the contemporary music scene.

The EP features the participation of rising Turkish artist Selin Çıngır, as well as Alex Sid, one of the most recognizable Greek composers and performers of his generation. Together, the three artists create a sound that moves between retro and modern, with a strong emotional background and cinematic aesthetic.

The release of “Walk a Mile” is not just a new chapter in Kadebostany’s discography. It is a prelude to the highly anticipated album “The Outsider,” due in January 2026. The EP prepares audiences for the band’s next era, offering a taste of their new, more mature and theatrical sound.

Guillaume de Kadebostany, founder, producer and "President" of the mythical Republic of Kadebostany, explains the philosophy behind the new work:
“Those wild nights cruising the highways in old American cars, living fast, laughing out loud and crying heartily… these moments became a source of inspiration for my new album. It is a tribute to the Kadebostany Republic way of life – no roots, no rules, just freedom, chaos and the search for beauty wherever it hides.”

Alex Sid revealed that his collaboration with Kadebostany and Selin Çıngır was a unique experience:
“For “Walk a Mile,” I traveled to Istanbul. The journey is always part of creation – full of people, images, and emotions that give birth to music. What remains in the end is the essence: the moments that inspire us to write songs that touch hearts.”

Kadebostany's music is recognizable from the first note. Between melody and rhythm, "Walk a Mile" manages to capture the freedom of wandering, the feeling of loneliness and the need for human connection. Pop and folk influences coexist in perfect balance, creating a sound that travels between the contemporary and the timeless.

The EP has already begun to garner positive reviews, with audiences and critics alike talking about an “aesthetic renaissance” for the band. Guillaume, after all, is not afraid to explore new musical paths – each Kadebostany project is a small revolution against pop convention.

The release is accompanied by the announcement of “The Outsider World Tour 2026”, which begins in December. Athens will be one of the most important stops on the tour, with Kadebostany performing live on December 13. The show promises a spectacle of high energy, passion and stage aesthetics that combines image, sound and emotion.

The live in Athens will be opened by Seven of Hearts, a duo that combines melodic pop with a dark synth-art aesthetic. Christos Michail and Stavros Filippopolitis create a soundscape with intense emotion and an electronic pulse, offering an introduction to the spirit of the evening.

Kadebostany, with their characteristic theatricality, promise a concert that will be unforgettable. Each of their performances is an experience — not just a live performance. The projections, lighting effects and emotional intensity create an atmosphere that captivates the audience.

“Walk a Mile” is available on all digital platforms, and is the first step towards the long-awaited album “The Outsider”, which will be released in January 2026 by Panik Records. The album is expected to further expand Kadebostany’s sonic universe, adding new chapters to contemporary European pop.

With the release of “Walk a Mile,” the band proves that music can be both simple and profound, melodic and bold. The EP is a reminder that Kadebostany remain one of the most original and artistic visions of the decade.
