They made history: The artists with 1 billion spins on iHeartRadio
The list of artists who made history in 2025 continues to grow! On Friday, May 23, iHeartRadio announced the 13 new winners of the Titanium Awards – an honor for songs that have surpassed the impressive 1 billion plays mark on the network’s radio stations.
The artists who received awards include:
- Sabrina Carpenter with "Espresso"
- SZA with "Saturn"
- Shaboozey with "A Bar Song (Tipsy)"
- Doja Cat with "Agora Hills" and "Paint the Town Red"
- David Guetta & Bebe Rexha with "I'm Good (Blue)"
- Benson Boone with "Beautiful Things"
- Hozier with "Too Sweet"
- Jack harlow with "Lovin' On Me"
- Nicky Youre with the "Sunroof"
- Both with "Unstoppable"
- Tate McRae with "greedy"
- Teddy Swims with "Lose Control"
It is worth noting that five of these songs reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, with the most impressive being Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" which remained at the top for 19 weeks.
David Guetta, accepting his award for "I'm Good (Blue)", commented: "The track started as a simple DJ tool at festivals and became a hit by accident! It's my most streamed song – it even surpassed 'Titanium'."
Accordingly, the Nicky Youre He shared his joy by saying: "I received my award in the mail and I'm still in shock. I couldn't have done it without my fans and the iHeart family!"
The iHeartRadio Titanium Awards are based on the total spins of a song, taking into account the audience listening to it live at that moment – sort of like the radio equivalent of streams.
