The story with the earplugs, the old "fear" and the messages that caused tension a few days before Eurovision
Η Marina Satti is preparing to perform in the first semi-final of Eurovision in Basel, but before she even takes the stage, her name has already caused a sensation – and not for her song. The reason, this time, was not a yawn, but an intense confrontation with Israeli journalist Yaniv Dornbush.
The website journalist Walla posted a story on Instagram from Marina's appearance at a Euroclub party, accompanied by a picture with... earplugs and a snapshot from last year's viral yawn at Eden Golan's press conference.
The singer's response was lightning fast and left no room for misinterpretation:
"Earplugs? Put them on.""your ears so you don't hear the bombs falling, bitch", wrote to him via personal message.
"I don't know what happened last year": Marina Satti's reaction to Evangelinos' statements
Dornbush, for his part, revealed that during the flight to Switzerland, they were sitting side by side. He noticed that Marina was visibly emotional and crying — which is why, he said, he didn't talk to her. In a message to her, he said:
"Out of respect, I didn't speak to you then. Do you now want to comment on your attitude last year towards Eden Golan?"
In an article in Walla, the journalist noted that Satti he only apologized for the word "bitch", without undoing the rest of the message.
The resurgence of tension comes a few days after statements by Eden Golan, who had described her Eurovision 2024 experience as psychologically charged and hostileShe reported that many missions avoided her, singling out only four countries for their kindness — and including Greece among the most "disgusting" behaviors.
